Porche Smith



Porche received her medical training and became registered as a Medical Assistant through the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She graduated from Fort Sam Houston's Medical Education & Training campus in San Antonio, TX in 2011.

Porche has experience in both Inpatient & Outpatient settings. Stationed at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia for 2 years, she got hands on training in Inpatient Orthopedic Ward and worked alongside Doctors, PAs, Nurses, & LPNs caring for and treating Military members with all types of Combat related injuries from Gunshot wounds to IED Blasts

After completing her tour in Virginia, She took her talents to the West Coast for 3 years where she was Stationed at the San Diego Naval Hospital in California.

While there, she worked in a Family medicine clinic assisting Providers and Independent Duty Corpsmen (IDCs) with Physical Exams, Minor Surgical procedures such as Toe nail & Cyst removals.

Porche was also gained experience in vaccine administration being the only Immunization Tech to assist in the Readiness of over 2,000 service members. She is certified in CPR/BLS.

Porche is highly skilled in Phlebotomy & absolutely LOVES all things Patient care. She is very caring, compassionate, selfless, and thoughtful.

She takes her time with each patient ensuring them that they are Heard, Their problems are addressed, and they receive High Quality care at all times.
